Premier Model Railways attended the Romsey Model Railway Exhibition at Crosfield Hall in Romsey in March 2020 to see the train models and layouts on show.
This was the 41st annual exhibition for the Romsey and District Railway Moddellers Society.
Model Railway layouts were on show in a wide range of scales / gauges
The quality of the layouts are high, with traders only being invited after being seen running under exhibition conditions.
Layouts include: Talyllyn Railway in the 1920’s, an imaginary goods yard in the shadow of Battersea Power Station, Set in Sussex during pre-war Southern Railway days, Somewhere in Germany between 1925 and 1945, British tramway set in 1950's - 1960, Proposed terminus of the Yealmpton branch in South Devon, Freelance BR steam and diesel, Glyn Valley Tramway in about 1908, A small Cornish terminus set between 1958 and 1972, Based on Redbridge wharf and station at Southampton in the 1960’s, 1930’s private wood yard and narrow gauge railway.
